2 Days Safari to Ajai Wildlife Reserve

This 2-day safari takes you from Kampala to the lesser-explored wilderness of . The journey combines scenic road travel with game viewing, birding, nature walks, and an opportunity to discover Ajai’s unique landscapes and conservation history.
TRAVEL PLAN
Day 1: Kampala – Ajai Wildlife Reserve
Depart Kampala early in the morning and begin the journey northwards toward Ajai Wildlife Reserve. Enjoy scenic views of Uganda’s countryside, local communities, and changing landscapes along the way.
Arrive at Ajai in the afternoon and settle into your accommodation. After lunch and a short rest, head out for an afternoon game drive, exploring the savanna woodland and grassland habitats. Keep an eye out for Uganda kob, hartebeest, bushbuck, waterbuck, baboons, and other wildlife.
As the day cools, enjoy the reserve’s peaceful surroundings before returning to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Nature Walk & Birding – Kampala
Wake up early for a nature walk and birding experience through Ajai’s diverse habitats. Explore the wetlands, riverine areas, grasslands, and woodland while observing the reserve’s plant life and bird species.
After breakfast, continue with a morning wildlife experience before beginning your journey back to Kampala. Enjoy lunch along the way and arrive in Kampala in the evening, marking the end of your 2-day Ajai safari.
